Your acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions

1. By booking your accommodation you are agreeing to abide by our Terms & Conditions outlined below

Booking Policy

2. All customers must be over the age of 18 to make a booking. Bookings are non-transferable to any other person and accommodation will only be provided to those listed on the booking confirmation. While we will use our best endeavours to meet the requirements of our customers, we cannot guarantee that cabin and site preferences will be met, as this is subject to many factors including availability from time to time.

Park Reception Hours

3. Our Park Reception hours are between the hours of 9:00am and 5:30pm from Monday to Sunday. If the office is unattended during these hours, please call the office number.

Office Hours

4. Our usual office hours are between 9:00am and 5:30pm from Monday to Sunday. However, this may be subject to change during busy periods.

Peak and Off-Peak Periods

5.  In these Terms & Conditions, the following terms have the prescribed meaning:

(a)  “Off-Peak Period” means any period of the year excluding the Easter period (Thursday to Tuesday) and 20 December to 31 January;
(b) “Peak Period” means the Easter period (Thursday to Tuesday) and 20 December to 31 January.

Late Arrivals

6. Where possible, we will endeavour to facilitate any late arrivals. If you will be arriving outside of the normal office hours, please advise Robe Holiday Park on 0488 727 269 to allow for arrangements to be made for an after-hours check-in including for the collection of booking information, keys, park map and rules.

Check-In Time

7. Check-in time is after 2:00pm.  Earlier times may be available on request. Please confirm this with the park at the time of reservation.

Check-Out Time

8. Check-out time is 10:00am for Sites and Cabins.

9. Cabins – Please return your keys to Reception on departure or leave them in the return key box which is located outside the front reception door.

10. If you require a late check out please ask at reception the day prior to your departure.

Christmas Day

11. Christmas is the perfect time to spend time with loved ones and our team will be taking Christmas Day off.

12. There will be no staff in the office and we will not allow check-ins on Christmas Day.

13. Please find outlined below our closure dates and emergency contact details in the event of an Emergency ONLY:

Prices

14. All Prices quoted are in Australian dollars, are inclusive of GST and subject to change without notice due to seasonal and other variations.

Promotions

15. Only one promotional/membership offer can be redeemed on any booking.

Quiet Time

16. We ask all guests to be considerate of others and keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 7am.

Vehicles

17. Only one car is included in your booking, if you intended on bringing a boat/trailer or additional vehicles please advise Robe Holiday Park prior to arrival (additional vehicle storage may be required to be organised prior to arrival)

Children

Cabins

18. Infants under two years of age are free of charge.  If the child will be occupying a bed, then additional fees will apply for linen.  Any child aged 2 years or older and occupying a bed are charged at $15 per night.

19. Robe Holiday Park reserves the right to request proof of age.

Powered sites

20. Children under 3 years of age are free of charge. Child rates apply to ages 3-17 years on sites.

21. Robe Holiday Park reserves the right to request proof of age.

Deposits

22. A deposit is required to be paid to Robe Holiday Park to secure a reservation and must be paid at the time of booking (subject to Clauses 24 and 25). No reservations will be confirmed until a deposit has been received.

23. The deposit payable will be calculated as follows:

(a) Cabins: An amount equal to the fee payable for the first night of the customer’s stay;
(b) Powered sites: 50% of the total fee payable for the customer’s stay.

December and January

24. If the customer’s stay is during the period between 20 December to 31 January, a deposit equal to 50% of the total fee payable for the customer’s stay is required to be paid by no later than 31 July (prior to the customer’s stay).

Easter Period – Thursday to Tuesday

25. If the customer’s stay is during the Easter period (between Thursday and the following Tuesday) a deposit equal to 50% of the total fee payable for the customer’s stay is required to be paid by no later than 1 February.

Final Payments

26. Off-Peak Period: If the customer’s stay is during an Off-Peak Period, the balance of the total fee payable is required to be paid by the date of the customer’s arrival.

27. Peak Period: If the customer’s stay is during a Peak Period, the balance of the total fee is payable is due by the following dates:

(a) If the stay is between 1 December and 31 January, due by no later than 1 December;
(b) If the stay is between Thursday and Tuesday during the Easter period, due by no later than two (2) weeks prior to the customer’s arrival.

Forms of Payment

28. The customer may make payments by Visa or Mastercard, or by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the following account:

Reference:         Customer surname and booking ID

When making a payment by EFT using the above account details, please include the customer’s surname and the booking ID in the reference for that payment.

Cancellations

29. All cancellations of bookings must be made at least seven (7) days prior to the arrival date to receive a refund. If the customer cancels a booking within seven (7) days of the arrival date, a refund for the deposit and any other monies paid will not be provided.

30. A cancellation fee will apply to all cancelled bookings:

(a) Administration cancellation fee of $10 if the booking is for a Powered Site;
(b) administration cancellation fee of $30 if the booking is for a Cabin.

31. An administration/cancellation fee of $10 will apply to all cancelled bookings for sites.

32. If the booking being cancelled relates to a stay during a Peak Period, there will be no refund provided to the customer.

33. If the customer fails to notify Robe Holiday Parks of their cancellation, or if the customer fails to arrive by 10:00am on the scheduled arrival date, the customer’s reservation may be cancelled by Robe Holiday Park and no refund will be available for the deposit paid.

34. Any cancellations or alterations to a reservation which are made after the commencement date of the scheduled booking will not qualify for any refund and any monies paid by the customer will be forfeited.

35. Notwithstanding the provisions above, Robe Holiday Park may in its sole discretion issue an accommodation voucher to the customer for extenuating circumstances. Any request for an accommodation voucher should be made to management and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

36. The customer will not be entitled to a refund should the customer deem the weather to be unappealing during their visit.

Group Bookings/Special Offers

37. Additional terms and conditions may apply to group bookings or bookings made under a special offer.

Maximum Numbers per Cabin

38. The number of people accommodated in each cabin must not exceed the number of beds available.

Fire Danger Season

39. Robe Holiday Park does not allow communal camp fires during Fire Danger Season.

40. Fire Danger Season commences Mid November and ends at the end of April (Subject to Change). Dates are determined yearly by Country Fire Service.

Communal Camp Fires

41. A communal fire pit is located at the main grassed area of the park, directly across from the office.  Communal Campfire hours are between 4.00pm and 10.00pm and lit at the discretion of Management.

Communal Camp Fire Rules

42. Camp fires are seasonal and are only permitted outside of Fire Danger Season.

43. Fires will also not be permitted in dangerous weather conditions.

44. No Fire can be lit without permission from Park Owners/Management.

45. Campfires are permitted between 4.00pm and 10:00pm outside of Fire Danger Season. All fires must be completely extinguished at 10:00pm.

46. The campfire cannot be left unattended at any time.

47. Children must be supervised around the campfire at all times.

48. Fires must not be lit within five (5) meters of native vegetation and sufficient water must be available in case of emergency.

49. Any safety breaches will be dealt with accordingly. You will be asked to extinguish the fire and if necessary, you will be reported to the Country Fire Service.

50. The customer is responsible for the safety of the customer’s family/group.  The communal fire must only be lit by management. An adult must be present at all times, including when children are present. Shoes must be worn within a four (4) meter radius of the fire

Pet Policy

51. Pets are permitted to be brought for Powered Sites only (not permitted for Cabins) and may only be brought for a booking during an Off-Peak Period.

52. Pets are not permitted for Powered Site bookings during a Peak Period.

53. Any pets found inside a Cabin will incur a $200 cleaning fee payable by the customer.

54. The following rules apply to any pets brought into the park:

(a)  Pets must remain on the customer’s campsite at all times;
(b) Pets must be on a lead at all times;
(c) Pets must be supervised at all times and never left unattended;
(d) Pets are not permitted in any common areas including camp kitchen and amenities;
(e) The customer is responsible for picking up and disposing of the pet’s waster in a sealed plastic bag and placed into the appropriate rubbish bins;
(f) The customer must be considerate of other park users and ensure their pet does not disturb other guests.

Stolen Goods/Lost Property

55. Management and staff of Robe Holiday Park are not liable for any loss or damage to personal property of any guests throughout the duration of the stay. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that all of their valuables are kept in a safe place.

Damages/Losses

56. Cabin guests will be liable for any loss or damages to the appliances, furniture, fixtures and all fitting in the accommodation. Also includes excessive cleaning charges that may apply.

Smoking

57. All buildings and common areas at Robe Holiday Park are non-smoking. Smoking inside your cabin will incur a minimum fee of $200.

58. We request that all guests be considerate of other guests if smoking at communal campsite.

Jumping Pillow Safety Rules

59. All guests using the Jumping Pillow do so at their own risk.

60. ALL AGES ARE WELCOME BUT ROUGH PLAY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

61. CHILDREN UNDER 12 MUST BE SUPERVISED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT AT ALL TIMES.

62. Management and employees of Robe Holiday Park reserve the right to ask guests to leave the Jumping Pillow area for failure to observe the above Safety Rules.

Rules

63. No footwear is to be worn on the pillow;

64. Strictly no glass, food or drink permitted;

65. Remove sharp objects from pockets/hands;

66. Please be Mindful of small children;

67. No jumping with one (1) meter of pillow edge;

68. No somersaults or inverted manoeuvres;

69. No jumping in we swimwear;

70. No bikes or scooters.

Force Majeure

71. “Force Majeure Event” means any of the following events:

(a) act of God including lightning, storm, natural flood, landslide or earthquake;
(b) act of public enemy, war (declared or undeclared), terrorism, sabotage, blockade, revolution, riot, insurrection, civil commotion, or epidemic;
(c) embargo, power shortage or water shortage;
(d) any state-wide or nationwide industrial action affecting the park which is not caused or contributed to by a party;
(e) a change in law;

the consequences of which:

(f) are beyond the control of the party claiming relief (“Affected Party”); and
(g) could not have been prevented, overcome or remedied by the Affected Party of a standard of care and diligence consistent with that of a prudent and competent person under the circumstances (including the expenditure of reasonable sums of money).

72. Neither party will be responsible for any delays in delivering its services or performing its obligations due to a Force Majeure Event.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

73. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law in force in the state of South Australia and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the State of South Australia in respect of any proceedings in connection with these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time by management.
